Specialist anaesthetic billing & revenue management — South Africa

Most private anaesthesiologists are losing revenue they have already earned.

The losses are rarely catastrophic. They are persistent — and over a year, they are significant.

Why specialism matters

Anaesthetic billing is not general medical billing. It has its own coding logic, its own modifier conventions, its own time-unit calculations, and its own scheme behaviour. A bureau that bills for radiologists, GPs, pathologists, and anaesthesiologists in the same workflow inevitably treats anaesthetic claims as a category — when they are, in practice, a discipline.

PractiSync took a different decision. We work only with anaesthesiologists. Every claim we submit, every modifier we apply, every scheme we engage with sits inside a single specialist context. That focus is what allows us to find revenue a generalist bureau cannot see.

The discipline of doing one thing well is the foundation of doing it well.

How we work

Three connected services. Submission and recovery work together because billing without recovery is incomplete.

Who we are

PractiSync is a partnership. Marli Goldberg leads operations — seven years specialising in anaesthetic billing, and the practitioner-facing partner for every client. Jonathan Goldberg leads technology and strategy.

The firm is small by design. Anaesthesiologists deserve a billing partner who knows them by name, understands their list patterns, and treats their revenue with the seriousness they treat their clinical work.

The Revenue Diagnostic

A free 30-minute review of your billing performance, conducted by a specialist.
